NARDIA BINNS WAS VICIOUSLY CHOPPED IN PREVIOUS HOME ATTACK

A St Ann woman has been shot dead at home, months after she was viciously attacked and left for dead.
Dead is 43-year-old Nardia Binns of Helicon, Discovery Bay, St Ann.
Sources told North Coast Times that Ms Binns was shot to death in her home near Discovery Bay, St Ann early Sunday afternoon.
An earlier attack at her home had resulted in her receiving terrible shop wounds to her face and upper body. That attack, on January 30, 2024, was not the first on the woman, as North Coast Times had reported.

Her mother had also been attacked and killed in the same house.
After the January 2024 attack, Ms Binns was released from hospital nearly two months ago. The attack had left her blind in one eye. She had returned to her home, attending clinics, and returning to her regular routine.
Then Sunday afternoon, Ms Binns was attacked again this time shot at least three times in the upper body and head.
People who have been to the scene told the North Coast Times it was the most gruesome sight they had witnessed. Said one resident: “Dem come fi her now and make sure she haffi dead.”
Police were on the scene when this report was being filed.
