They all contributed money and supplies and brought parents together to help organize the treat.

The afternoon began with devotion and prayer by Evelyn Walford.  Philpot Mitchelle gave a short address congratulating Ms Simpson and the others for the treat and encouraging g the students to attend school and do well.

The children were provided with a hot meal, with dessert and packages of back to school stationery, including erasers, books, crayons, sharpener and pencils..

Mr Simpson said: “We are looking forward to a bigger and better treat next year and big thank you to parents who supported and helped me with the children and cleaning up. Thanks to my bartenders Shavanna and Simone and also thanks to Rick who supported with the chairs and many thanks to the North Coast Times also.”
