A St Ann woman was killed at her gate in Bamboo in a terrible traffic crash Wednesday, afternoon.
Dead is 61 year-old Loreen Whorms of Bamboo, St Ann.
Reports are that about 3 o’clock, Ms Whorms had just emerged from a taxi and was approaching her gate when a pick-up truck, that was out of control,slammed into her pinning her against a wall. Her legs were reportedly severed.
She was taken to hospital where she died.
Reports are that the pick-up truck had blown a tire after hitting another vehicle and the driver lost control.
Police are investigating.
