Progressive FC Loses 2 Finals In One Day
Progressive FC lost two finals on one day going down to WiFi United of Hope Bay and Ujama of Hectors river in the Portland FA Under 15 and Under 20 respectively.
The two finals were played at Carder Park on Saturday, June 24.
In the U-15 finals, WiFi United were crowned Portland champions on Saturday when they defeated Progressive four goals to three on penalties after playing to a one all draw at full and extra time.
A goal from Roshawn Beckford for WiFi was cancelled out by Andwele Dylan-Hall who equalized for Progressive, forcing the game into extra time without any further goals. At the penalties WiFi out shot Progressive 4-3.

In the Portland FA Portland Credit Union U-20 final Ujama clipped Progressive 1-0 from a Marlon Pennicooke strike in the 15th minute. Pennicooke, with that winning goal, moved his tally to 20 as the leading goal scorer in the competition.
