WHO IS THE WOMAN KILLED IN OCHI?

question

A week later cops can’t identify her

Police are yet to identify a woman shot dead at a party in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Saturday night, October 18.

A man from Ocho Rios was shot and wounded in the incident. He has been identified as Kayson Walker also called “Bum Bum” and “Skel”, of a lane at 120 Main Street, Ocho Rios. Police say Walker is before the court on a murder charge related to a killing in 2013.

Reports are that Walker and the unidentified woman were together at a fish fry, close to midnight on Saturday, October 25.  The couple was together close to the edge of activities when they were approached by a gunman who opened fire. The woman was hit in her face and head and collapsed at a gate column, to the informal settlement.  Walker who ran off was shot in the abdomen and hand and fell close to the offices of a security company. One of the seven shots fired lodged in a car parked at the company. He was hospitalized and was in hospital up to the weekend.

However, investigators working the case are unable to get any identification for the woman known as “Poochi” and “Kim”. People in the area said she was not from Ocho Rios and was not staying in the area but just “passing through.” Police expect to get a date for the postmortem this week and are anxious to contact her relatives or close friends.  The North Coast Times was unable to get and publish a photograph of her to help with her identification. If you know the woman, you may contact us or send a photo to our facebook page or email.

Police say they are confident in their investigations as people are willing to cooperate with them.
