Police are yet to release details on the break-in and robbery at a Western Union outlet in Highgate, St Mary.
The thieves cut away the grille at the front of the building on Main Street and removed glass from the door before they entered and stole the safe, before dawn Thursday.
It’s not known how much was in the safe.
The Highgate police station is only a few yards away from the Western Union building.
Up to late Thursday, after three checks by the North Coast Times with the police information arm, the CCU, no details were available on the incident.
