One of St Ann’s top most wanted men was held in the middle of Ocho Rios, St Ann early Wednesday morning.
He is 25-year-old Kevin Rattigan o/c Jigsy and Teves of Lime Hall and was wanted in connection with the murder of Maurice Cox of New Ground, near Lime Hall, on May 29, 2015.
Rattigan was held in a police operation about 2 a.m. as he mingled with people in the near-never-sleep spot around the clock in the resort town.
Police said Rattigan had been on the run for the murder of Cox and had eluded them in raids in Lime Hall as well as in Mango Valley, St Mary that he frequented.
SSP Wayne Cameron said Rattigan was from the After Dark gang that has been dismantled. “We are relentlessly pursuing these wanted men and gang members to dismantle the gangs and disrupt their operations ,” SSP Cameron said
