The Ocho Rios branch of the Victoria Mutual Building Society (VMBS) held a cocktail function for its clients at the Almond Tree Restaurant in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Wednesday evening, November 23. The function saw several VMBS executives from Kingston mingling with clients and guests from the Ocho Rios region. President and CEO of the Victoria Mutual Group, Courtney Campbell told the clients present that he appreciated their “loyalty and support.” He also told those present that VMBS was working hard “to take the quality of service to higher heights.” He also pointed out that VMBS was also pumping J$1.8 billion in upgrading the building society’s IT (Information Technology) to provide its client with better internet banking. He lauded the Ocho Rios branch of VMBS led by branch manager Charmaine McConnell-Taylor and noted that he was very proud of the branch.
