SOCIAL MEDIA DATE GOES BAD
A St Ann videographer has been charged with rape and abduction following and incident in Brown’s Town St. Ann on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
Charged is 26-year-old Shane Thomas a videographer of Philadelpha, Brown’s Town, St. Ann. Reports from the lawmen are that the complainant and Thomas has been communicating via Instagram since May 15, 2024 and they decided to meet, after three weeks.
About 1:00p.m., on June 4 the videographer and the young woman met each other. According to police “ Thomas forced the teen to the bridge and had sex with her against her will.” It did not state which bridge.
He was subsequently charged after being pointed out by the complainant and a statement given. A court date for him is being finalised.
