POLICE SAY MEN WANTED FOR SERIOUS AND VIOLENT CRIMES
ST ANN’S BAY; St Ann, August 28, 2025
Two men from St Ann are among a list of 19 named Thursday, August 28, as wanted for a “range of serious and violent crimes, including murder, assault and robbery.”
Named from St Ann are Devar Hodges and Kemar Matthews.
The police statement said an intensive search has been launched for the 19, who are urged to turn themselves in immediately.
Further, the release from the police said “the individuals listed are considered key players in criminal activities across the island and the police have intensified their efforts to locate and apprehend them.”

Those named from St Ann are:
- DEVAR HODGES, otherwise called ‘Skeddo’ and ‘Blackhead’, of Brown’s Town, St. Ann. He is wanted for wounding with intent.
and
- KEMAR MATTHEWS, otherwise called ‘Bibi’ and ‘Bitta’, of Steer Town, Rose Hall, and Dam Head, all in St. Ann and Meggie Top, Salt Spring in St. James.
Police did not give details of what Matthews is wanted for.
Most of the men on the list are from Kingston and St Andrew. None is from Portland or St Mary; the other parishes, in addition to St Ann, covered by the North Coast Times.
