INJURED CHILDREN TRANSFERRED TO HOSPITAL IN ST ANDREW
DISCOVERY BAY, At Ann; July 24, 2025
Police have identified two of the three people killed in the two-vehicle collision in St Ann on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Dead are 45-year-old Clint Carty, taxi operator of Old Folly District, Discovery Bay, in the parish, and Georgia Johnson, whose details are so far unknown to the police. The other person killed is a woman who has not been identified.
Seven people were injured and taken to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital, where they were admitted, some in critical condition. Two children among the injured have been transferred to a hospital in the Corporate Area.
Police say the crash occurred about 11:20 when the driver of a Mitsubhi Outlander travelling west lost control of the vehicle, which drove into the path of a Honda Step Wagon travelling in the opposite direction, toward Discovery Bay.
