Still Few Details From Police
Two people have died and two are still in hospital following a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning, June 12, along the Salem Runaway Bay Road in St Ann.
Dead are 58-year-old Owen Dover, employed to Rainforest Seafood, of Lincoln Road, Brown’s Town, and 38-year-old Rojesha Robinson, a former employee of Singer, of Enfield also in Brown’s Town, both in St Ann.
Mrs Robinson’s husband, Michael who was driving a Mazda Demio motorcar in which she and Dover were passengers, was badly injured and is in hospital.
Police have not given much detail but reports are that about 12:30 the Mazda Demio was heading westerly, toward Brown’s Town, when it was involved in a crash with a Toyota Mark X near Piper’s Cove, Runaway Bay.
The Mark X was carrying two men and travelling in the opposite direction. The men, 18-year-old Rasheed Campbell and one 21-year-old Royana Harris, both of Content, Discovery Bay received minor injuries.
