COPS SAY WHAT HAPPENED IS ‘UNDETERMINED’
The St. Ann police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a foreign national at a hotel in the Ocho Rios area on Friday, October 13.
Dead is 28-year-old Chase Bracken a businessman of Hicks Road, Zanesville, Ohio, USA.
Police say they are investigating it as an “undetermined death” and not a suicide as some reports initially claimed.
Reports from the police are that at about 8:45 p.m., Bracken who was a guest at the hotel, went on the balcony to have a beer. Shortly after, another guest reportedly heard sounds outside his balcony and made checks. He found Bracken lying on the ground floor and alerted the front desk. The police were summoned and on their arrival, he was seen lying on his back in a pool of blood.
Police say they are awaiting a post-mortem.
