Mother’s Day is the day dedicated to shower your mother with love and one great option is to treat her to an afternoon of great food and entertainment at ‘To Mom with Love’ on Sunday, May 8.
‘To Mom with Love’ is being held at two locations on the north coast. One event will be held at the popular, Yaad and Abraad in Drax Hall, St. Ann, while the other will be held at Shabba’s Place in Oracabessa, St Mary.
The event is being organized by Arthur ‘Shabba’ Jones and Veanna ‘Miss V’ Dixon from Team El Clásico.
Mr Jones explained that these two events are the perfect places for families to treat their mothers.
The event will start at one o’clock at both locations with lunch. Three course meals will comprise of sea food, shrimp, lobster, fish, oxtail, chicken and more. There will be complimentary wine or fruit punch also served. Cake and ice-cream will also be served
Show time is set for five o’clock.
Over at Yaad and Abraad in Drax Hall, St. Ann, patrons will be entered by live band, Temperature, while that segment will be hosted by Judy, who will also be performing for patrons. There will also be a fashion show for added entertainment value.
There is also an impressive entertainment package planned for ‘To Mom with Love’ at Shabba’s Place in Oracabessa, St. Mary. The mothers present will be serenaded by singer, C-Note. DJ Foody Blaax will also be on hand to play the musical hits, while live music will be provided by the Melody Vibes band.
Tickets for the St. Mary event at Shabba’s Place in Oracabessa are $2,000 pre-sold or $2,500 at the gates, while ticket prices for the event at Yaad and Abraad at Drax Hall, St Ann are $2,300 pre-sold or $3,000 at the gate. A group of 10 persons or more pay $2,000 each on pre-sold tickets. Children under 12 years, tickets cost $1,000 for both events.
