Titchfield, Happy Grove knocked out of D’Cup

 

Both Portland teams that advanced to the second round of the DaCosta Cup have been knocked out, following home and away matches.

Happy Grove were in with a chance following their 3-3 draw with Christiana High on Saturday. However, Christiana knocked out Happy Grove late in the game Wednesday at Carder Park, Port Antonio, beating the boys from East Portland by 1-0, for a 4-3 aggregate win. The goal game in the 87th minute from the boot of Michael Grant.

 

And Titchfield High were knocked out of the competition after losing the away and home games to Frome High of Westmoreland. Frome had won the first leg 3-0 and beat Titchfield in the second leg by 3-1 for a 6-1 aggregate win.
