Early Morning Quarrel Led To Stabbing
A man is dead and his close relative, a suspect in his murder in St Mary, is on the run.
Dead is well-known taxi operator 74-year-old Clovis Forth who was reportedly stabbed to death Saturday morning, August 5.
Reports are that early Saturday morning, about 3 o’clock, Forth came home and saw a relative on the verandah on St Mary Street, Port Maria. The two got into an argument during which the taxi operator was hit over the head with a brick and then stabbed several times with a knife.
Up to late afternoon, the Corporate Communications Network (of the JCF) told North Coast Times that the relative who is a suspect was still on the run. However, other sources told our reporter in St Mary that the relative had been held and was in custody.
