LATEST CASE INVOLVED USING EXPLICIT PICS OF A 16-Y-O TO BLACKMAIL HER

Police have arrested and charged a suspected serial rapist from Portland who was on bail on sex charges after he reportedly used sexually explicit pictures of a 16-year-old to blackmail her into having sex with him.
Charged is 25-year-old Ackiel Davis of Cornwall Barracks, Moore Town, Portland. Davis has been charged with:
âš« Rape
âš« Grievous Sexual Assault
âš« Use of a Computer for Malicious Communication, and
âš« Production of Child Pornography
Detectives assigned to the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime
Investigation Branch (CTOC) arrested and charged Davis in connection with a string of sexual offences committed across multiple parishes between 2023 and 2026.
Police said the most recent charges stem from an incident involving a 16-year-old girl.
Investigations said that Davis obtained explicit images and videos of females, including minors, and used these materials to blackmail them. He reportedly threatened to leak the content on social media unless the victims complied with his sexual demands.
In the current case, it is alleged that the 16-year-old complainant submitted out of fear, during which time the suspect recorded sexual acts.
Following intensive investigations, Davis was arrested Friday, January 15, 2026, and subsequently pointed out in an ID parade before he was charged.
C-TOC has confirmed that Davis is a repeat offender currently before the courts for similar crimes committed between 2023 and 2024 involving four other complainants. At the time of his latest arrest, Davis was out on bail.
