One of two men seen on a video robbing a security guard at a gas station in the Ocho Rios area, St Ann, has been held by police.
The video that has gone viral since being posted at the weekend was taken from security cameras at the gas station. The security guard is seen sitting with a newspaper on his lap when two men approached, one plainly showing a gun he had. The other man stands over the guard, facing him, and goes through his pockets removing a cell phone and other personal items.
He then walks away.
The faces of both men are seen in the video, although the one who stood by the side was wearing a cap. A still photo is also shown of the one who raided the pockets of the guard.
Police are said to be seeking the other man but have not issued his photo or name as wanted or as a person of interest which is why The Times cannot now carry that photo.
