The St. Mary police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man and a robbery at his house on Monday morning, March 8.
Dead is 72-year-old Ronald Gibbs, a business man of Wentworth, Galina, St Mary.
Reports from the Port Maria police are that at about 6:40 a.m., a relative was looking for Gibbs and found him with what appeared to be stab wounds. The police were summoned and he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Several items were stolen from the house.
