MEN ON SCENE IN ANNOTTO BAY ESCAPE
ANNOTTO BAY, St Mary; Nov. 21, 2025
St Mary police seized a submachine gun and ammunition in the Port-Auto Lane area of Annotto Bay, in the parish, on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
According to the police, about 4:25 p.m., acting on intelligence, officers went to a premises located near the Annotto Bay coastline. Upon the team’s arrival, two men were observed and upon seeing the police, they fled.
A thorough search of the premises was conducted, during which officers discovered one (1) Uzi sub-machine gun with a magazine affixed, along with five (5) 9mm cartridges buried in a black cloth shopping bag. Investigations are ongoing as the police work to identify and apprehend the individuals involved.
Earlier this week, the St Mary police dug up and seized a shotgun that was buried in the Robin’s Bay Cemetery
