A 38-year-old motorcyclist died as a result of injuries he received in a crash on the Crooked River main road in St Mary on Sunday morning, July 30.
Dead is Patrick Anthony Samuels, of Crooked River, Annotto Bay in the parish.
A release from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) stated that: “Reports from the Annotto Bay police are that about 7:40 a.m., Samuels was driving a Zhujiang motorcycle when on reaching a section of the roadway, he allegedly lost control of the motorcycle and it collided into a concrete culvert.”
The release said Samuels was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police are continuing their investigations.
