Two men were found guilty on gun and assault charges by High Court Judge Chester Stamp in the St Mary Circuit Court on Wednesday, November 23.
Those convicted are Rossanie Johnson and Alex Atkinson of Highgate, St Mary.
Both men were charged with illegal possession of a firearm and assault at common law.
Allegations are that on October 25, 2015, at about 8:15 p.m., an argument developed among Johnson, Atkinson and another man in the Capture Land community of Highgate in the parish.
One of the men later brandished an illegal firearm.
Atkinson then passed the gun on to Johnson, and Johnson in turn uttered threatening words to the male complainant.
The man feared for his life and made a report to the police and the accused men were later arrested and charged.
The trial commenced on Tuesday, November 22 and last Wednesday, Mr Justice Stamp found the men guilty of the offences.
Johnson and Atkinson were taken into custody.
They are to be sentenced on Thursday, December 8.
