Murder Suspected
Police are investigating what is suspected to be the murder of a man whose body was found in a pit, in St Mary, Wednesday.
Dead is forty-one-year-old Linton Thomas, otherwise called ‘Bo-Bo’, a farmer of Roadside district, Islington, in the parish.
Reports from the Port Maria Police are that early Wednesday morning, September 10, there was some commotion at Thomas’ home in Islington.
About 10:30 a.m., residents went to the house. They saw blood and followed the trail to a pit where Thomas’ body was seen.
According to a report from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) of the JCF, the police were summoned. Upon their arrival, Thomas’ body was seen in the pit with plastic wrap around his upper body. Investigations continue.
