A man was stabbed to death Monday, August 3, in a reported domestic dispute with a woman with whom he had a long running relationship.Dead is 37-year-old Patrick Campbell, alias ‘Peas Head’, a businessman of Martins in St. Mary.The allegations are that Campbell and the woman, a teacher got into a dispute which became physical, at about 8:45 Monday morning, in Esher. They did not live together. The woman lives in Esher and Campbell went to her house where the fight took place.It is claimed Campbell was stabbed in the left side of the neck. He died on the way to the Annotto Bay Hospital.Police have taken the common-law wife into custody.A source, who wished to remain unidentified, claimed that the woman was a regular victim of abuse and that the couple was often involved in fights.Other sources from the area say Patrick Campbell was a good man and a hard worker who operated a flower farm in Martins in St. Mary.
