CRASHED AFTER ATTEMPTING TO OVERTAKE LINE OF TRAFFIC

A St Mary motorcyclist was killed Friday afternoon, October 10, 2025, in St Ann when his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle and he was run over by a truck.
Dead is 23-year-old construction worker Kevon Anderson of Farm Pen District, Pembroke Hall, St Mary.
According to police reports, about 3:50 p.m., Friday, Anderson was driving his 2024 Missile motorcycle along the Drax Hall main road, in an easterly direction, in St Ann.
On reaching a section of the roadway, the driver of the motorcycle was in the process of overtaking a long line of traffic. While he was doing so, a motorcar (details not available) was turning right, entering the filter lane at the traffic lights at KFC/Knutsford Express plaza. Both vehicles collided. The driver of the motorcycle lost control and fell into the right lane or the opposite traffic lane, where he was run over by an International motor truck, going west.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
