Sex and gun related cases dominate the list in the St Mary Circuit Court that opened Monday.
There are 16 sex related cases, including rape and sex with children under 16, 10 murder cases and 23 gun court cases.
The 75 cases to be tried over a period of three weeks represent an increase of seven from the 68 cases that were on the list before the circuit court in late February.
High court judge Justice Marcia Dunbar-Green has made a call for cooperation among all members of the judiciary in dealing with the 75 cases that are to be heard before the St Mary Circuit Court.
She was speaking at the opening of the St Mary Circuit Court on Monday, July 4.
