A St Ann man who was involved in the armed hold-up of a bearer who was robbed of his motorcycle has been slapped with several charges.
He is 27-year-old Kevan Callum, a mason of Orange Hill, Brown’s Town in St. Ann. Callum has been charged with robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property stemming from an incident in Huntley District in the parish on Wednesday, December 7.
According to the police, a bearer was delivering an order to a man who was in Callum’s company, when a firearm was pointed at him and his motorcycle taken. Callum and his accomplice drove away on the vehicle.
A report was made to the police and the vehicle was recovered in Orange Hill. Callum was arrested and charged after he gave a caution statement. His court date is being arranged. –
