SIX SEEK TO BE PORTLAND FESTIVAL QUEEN 2024

SASHING TAKES PLACE AT TIM BAMBOO

PORT ANTONIO, Portland – May 21

 

Six beautiful, culturally conscious, and talented young ladies seeking to be named this year as Miss Portland Festival Queen were sashed on Saturday, May 18, at Hotel Tim Bamboo, Port Antonio.

The six are Tamesha Wilson, Jestina Lewis, Anlisa Keaten, Tameika Bernard, Mikayla Reboe, and Nena Williams. Most of the contestants are from the Rio Grande Valley.

Custos of the parish Lincoln Thaxter gave greetings. Cultural items were done by Jamaica Cultural Development Corporation  (JCDC) gold medallist Jonicia Rowland and trainer Tajay Baugh.

The sashing was attended by sponsors and family.
