TWO INJURED IN EARLY MORNING INCIDENT
Two men were shot and hospitalized following an incident just in front of the Brown’s Town Market, St Ann this morning.
One of the men was shot multiple times and another was shot in the arm.
Reports are that just after 6 o’clock Saturday morning, May 6, as vendors were taking up their positions and part of the market was still being cleaned, two men came through the market lane approached a vendor and opened fire at him.
Bullets hit two men who onlookers said were not the target. One of them was badly injured and the other, employed to the St Ann Municipal Corporation received a gunshot wound to the arm.
Some nearby vendors ran for cover but within an hour normal business resumed in the market.
The Brown’s Town police are investigating.
