In another case mentioned before RM Wilson, an accused Noel Shaw, was sentenced to serve two months in prison. Shaw is accused to robbing a tourist. He had pleaded guilty during a previous hearing. “You cannot rob a tourist,” RM Wilson said. “I am not saying you should rob anyone at all, but you just cannot rob a tourist, I will not allow you to do that.” RM Wilson said he was minded to sentence the accused to three months but said his family asked, in a social enquiry report, that he be lenient with his sentence. The accused was then sentenced to two months.
