Family to Offer $500,000 Reward for Information Leading to Locating Retired Accountant

Close family members and friends of a man who went missing a week ago are taking to the streets on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in search of him.

Owen ‘Techa’ Hamilton, a 66-year-old retired accountant of Steer Town, St Ann, was last seen in Bamboo in the parish where he attended a grave digging on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
His brother, Joseph Hamilton, who has planned the search for Saturday, July 11, told the North Coast Times that he and his family and friends will first go to Steer Town, Mammee Bay, and then to Bamboo. Mr Hamilton says his brother was well known in Bamboo.
He said Owen was not one to go away without telling his spouse, with whom he lives in Steer Town.
Mr Hamilton said he was preparing to offer a reward of $500,000 for information leading to the location of Owen Hamilton.
