TACKY HIGH STUDENTS FIGHT AFTER SCHOOL
Tacky High School in Gayle St Mary is the latest to be affected by the violence being reported among students across Jamaica.
Three boys, one 14 and the others 16 years of age, have been arrested and charged with wounding with intent in connection with an incident on Tuesday, April 23. They can not be identified as they are minors.
Reports to the North Coast Times are that on Tuesday afternoon, after school, the three male students had a dispute and started a fight near the Texaco gas station in the town of Gayle.
It is reported that one of the 16-year-olds attacked the 14-year-old with a knife. The boy received a stab wound to his shoulder. In the melee, the other two boys received injuries to several parts of their bodies.
All three were charged with wounding with intent.
