A St. Ann man pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault occasioning bodily harm, when he appeared before the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrate Court on Tuesday, September 8.The man charged is Junior Gordon. The allegations are that on July 22, Gordon used a water bottle to hit a woman in her face causing it to bleed. He pleaded not guilty to the charges presented against him.The medical report was the only document outstanding on the file; all other statements were present.Presiding resident magistrate Peter Wilson implored the accused man to find a lawyer, because if the medical proves that the woman was indeed injured, he would be in serious trouble with the law for lying. A mention date of January 7, 2015 was set for the matter.
