Saying Thanks For Health

Healthcare workers from the North East Regional Health Authority (NERHA) were feted and shown appreciation in various ways through the month of July.
The month was declared Healthcare Workers Appreciation Month and observed across the country.
Among those expressing appreciation were Sandals Ochi Beach Resort and Beaches Ocho Rios who paid tribute to over 120 Healthcare Workers from the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital, Ocho Rios Health Department, Port Maria Hospital, and the St. Mary Health Department during the Month.
The healthcare workers were selected from various categories across the facilities and treated in different ways by the resorts. Some were feted at the resorts while others were presented with tokens at their place of work with glowing tributes by the resorts. They were lauded for being daily superheroes and received expressions of gratitude for what they do for the nation.
