Reward increased for double-murder suspect in St Ann

On the anniversary of the brutal murder of two lovers in St Ann, police have increased the reward for information leading to the capture of their suspected killer.

 

The St. Ann Police are now offering a reward of $300,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of  50-year-old Brian Forbes, otherwise called ‘QQ’ and Cutie of Drumily district, near Claremont St. Ann.

 

Forbes is wanted in connection with the April 25, 2015 murder of 15-year-old Amoya Brown and 25-year-old Demar Smith. Head of St Ann police SSP Wayne Cameron told the Times Monday (April 25) it was one year since the brutal murders and they were doing everything to catch the suspect. He said for this reason they had increased the reward from $200,000 to $300,000

 

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Brian Forbes is being asked to call the St. Ann’s Bay Police at 972-2211, Crime Stop at 311, Kingfish at 811, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
