The Bamboo Branch Library in St Ann is the recipient of
a printer/scanner/photocopier combo unit, a gift in
memory of the late Major Zaccheus McKnight.
Mr McKnight who was a well known community man and
also a stalwart in the credit union movement once
served as Chairman of the branch library.
His widow Carmen McKnight (left) presented the unit to
the library. It was received by Kamisue Mills (right),
library assistant and branch officer. Mrs McKnight
commended Miss Mills for returning to the community
after her studies, to continue serving the library. A
memorial plaque was also placed at the library in honour
of Mr McKnight.
