ST ANN HANDYMAN CHARGED WITH WOUNDING

Two men from St. Ann have had criminal charges laid against them arising from separate incidents.
A St. Ann recording artiste was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition following the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition on Middle Street, Exchange, Ocho Rios, in the parish on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
He is 31-year-old Kimar Herman, otherwise called ‘Cray Fully’ of Mammee Bay, St. Ann’s Bay, in the parish.

Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that at about 7:25 p.m., lawmen on patrol in the area observed Herman and another man walking along the roadway. Herman had a bag across his chest. Both men were stopped and searched. During the search, a firearm and three .380 rounds of ammunition were found in Herman’s bag.
The firearm and ammunition were seized, and he was taken into custody, where he was subsequently charged.

A handyman who reportedly stabbed another man in an incident months ago in south St Ann has been charged.
Twenty-one-year-old handyman Amanie Grant, otherwise called ‘T-Jay,’ of Hydel Park, Inverness, St. Ann, has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident on Armadale Main Road, Alexandria, St. Ann, on Monday, February 24.
Reports from the Alexandria Police are that at about 11:30 p.m., an argument developed between Grant and a man. During the confrontation, Grant brandished a knife and inflicted stab wounds to the man’s upper body.
The injured man was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted.
The incident was reported to the police, and following an investigation, Grant was taken into custody, where he was subsequently charged.
A court date for him is being arranged.
