match

Port Antonio High prevailed over Brimmervale High, defeating the boys from St Mary 5-0 in their daCosta Cup inter-zone match at Lynch Park on Saturday, October 15, 2016. The win means that Port Antonio faces a must-win match against Steer Town to have a chance of getting out of the interzone round. The goal scorers were #20-D’Angelo King in the 8th minute, #14- Ramone Russell in the 30th minute, #9- Odane Jacks in the 55th minute, #16- Dillion Nugent in the 67th minute and #11- Jahmani Hamilton in the 74th minute.Following their loss to Dintill Technical in their previous inter-zone match, Port Antonio High’s coach Marlon Hylton had high praises for his team. He said, “coming from a defeat against Dinthill, these guys were down but not out, so they went back and got the training done and came here today in high spirits and got the job done.”
“Our strategy coming here today was solely about scoring goals as Dinthill would be hosting this team (Brimmervale) as well and they have an extra game to play against Steer Town so it was a must win situation.”
“We are looking forward to winning the Steer Town match as it is a must win to get into the Quarter-finals,” said Hylton.
