One man has been arrested in connection with a gun seized by police in Portland on Monday, May 19, 2025.
The Portland Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) said they seized one Taurus 9mm pistol along with one round of ammunition following an operation in Bangor Ridge district on Monday.
According to the Buff Bay Police, between 1:20 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., police searched an abandoned premises and found one firearm and ammunition.
One man was taken into custody in relation to the seizure.
