Port Antonio District Association (DA) of the Portland JTA won the annual Portland JTA Athletics meet on Friday, March 11 at the College of Agriculture field, Passley Gardens. The Port Antonio DA beat the other three DAs to emerge champions and take the Portland Cooperative sponsored trophy, with East Portland placing second and St George’s DA placing third. Coming in last was Rio Grande DA.
Presentation of the championship trophy to Port Antonio DA by Carla Baptise Portland Parish President Ronnieeane Renford Customer Service Representative from sponsors Portland Credit Union Port Antonio DA scored 290 points ahead of East Portland DA 235, St. George’s DA 234 and Rio Grande DA 113.
