NO STOLEN GOAT FOR EASTER

Police thwarted the effort of goat thieves in a district of St Mary on Good Friday, March 29, recovering five of the animals in the process.
Maybe the men who went to Donnington district, near Gayle, to steal goats had a sale for them or planned their own curry goat feast over the Easter holidays. But, it wasn’t going to happen, not with these targeted goats anyway.
Police reports are that on Good Friday, around 6:35 pm men were seen in the community of Donnington, near Pembroke Hall, Gayle removing goats from a property. The police were called and responded. Upon seeing the police patrol, the men ran into nearby bushes leaving behind the goats they had untethered.
The police recovered five goats.
The St Mary Praedial Larceny Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to find the men who attempted to steal goats at Donnington district on Good Friday.
