VICTIM LIVED NEAR WHERE HE WAS STABBED TO DEATH
OCHO RIOS, St Ann — July 14, 2024
Police have identified the man murdered in Ocho Rios, St Ann, on Friday evening, July 12.
Dead is Otis Henry o/c Tissy. He would have been 30 years old at his next birthday, July 30, 2024. Henry was unemployed and lived at 122 Main Street, Pineapple, Ocho Rios, St. Ann. The North Coast Times was the first to report the murder.
Police report that about 7:15 Friday evening, July 12, Henry was walking along Market Street when he was approached by a group of men. An altercation developed between them and the men brandished knives and inflicted wounds on him.
Henry ran off and collapsed about eighty meters away.
Police from the nearby Ocho Rios station responded to calls and found Henry face down in blood. He had what appeared to be stab wounds to the upper body. He was clad in a white T-shirt, red and black shorts and a pair of black shoes.
Investigations continue.
