The police are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man in a resort in St Ann in what appears to be a sex-related death.

The man has been identified as 30-year-old Rushane Andrew Clarke, bartender of Spicy Hill, Duncans, Trelawny.

Police are not saying what their early theories are in the death of Mr Clarke.

Clarke worked as a bartender at a restaurant in Salem, Runaway Bay and often stayed at a nearby guest house. He was last seen on Friday night, October 21, following his shift at the restaurant.

Reports are that he did not turn up for work on Saturday, October 22. On Sunday, the staff notified Clarke’s supervisor that he did not turn up for work the previous day.

When checks were made at the guesthouse where he stayed, Clarke was found lying face down on his bed. He was tied up with a piece of cloth covering his head and his right hand bound behind him,

Reports indicate there was no visible signs of injury or wounds observed. Police say they have identified a suspect but have made no arrest.
