A 52-year-old female pastor was stabbed to death and her throat slashed outside her home in St Ann, Monday night, October 3.
Police have her brother in custody for the murder.
Dead is Michelle Roache of Content Gardens, Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
Reports are that about 11:30 p.m. Monday, Ms Roache was at her house when she realized that the security lights were turned off outside. She reportedly went to enquire in the company of a relative. The two were attacked by a man, said to be her brother.
The other relative who had accompanied Ms Roache outside ran but she was repeatedly stabbed and her throat slashed.
She was pronounced dead at the St Ann’s Bay Hospital.
Her brother was taken into custody.
