Scores of people from all walks of life were on hand Saturday, January 10, at the funeral service celebrating the life of Joseph Uriah Senior, better known as Smiley, money trader, of Three Hills St Mary, who was shot dead in Ocho Rios December 17. He was 41. The service took place at the Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, St Ann’s Bay.In addition to the many from hotels, his community and the craft market, support came too to ‘Smiley’ too from the Iona High School, and Westwood High school to which his close family are associated.

Officiating minister, Pastor Barrington Gayle urged the congregation to be concerned about their souls and lamented that no one had been caught for the murder. He said even though the killer may not appear before a judge on earth he would be judged by God. Scripture reading was by Ester Taylor, and Chante and Selena Senior (daughters); remembrance by Barbara Murdock (aunt) and eulogy by Kevin Davis.
