MAN KILLED AT ST MARY SCHOOL PARTY
One man was shot dead and four people wounded following a row at a party, Wednesday night, March 27, at St Mary High School, Highgate, St Mary.
Dead is 28-year-old Fabian Needham, a pump attendant of Cumberland, in the parish.

Neither Needham nor those carrying out the violence were from or connected to the school.
Reports to the North Coast Times are that an after-sports day session was taking place at the school in Highgate, just after 8 p.m. Needham got into an altercation with a group of men said to be from the neighboring community of Capture Land. As the dispute escalated, it was reported that Needham threw a bottle at one of the men and ran.
The man and his friends chased Needham as the crowd scattered. One of the men pulled a firearm and opened fire.
Needham was hit in the upper body and taken to hospital where his death was confirmed.
Four others were also hit but none had life-threatening wounds.
Among them were two members of staff who had been carrying out duties at the party. They were said to have been grazed by bullets.
In a message on WhatsApp, the School’s Guidance Department said the incident was unfortunate and the entire school community was traumatized.
