There is anger and outrage in Heywood Hall, St Mary following the shooting death of a taxi operator from the area.
Thirty-one year old Milton Allison, alias ‘Coppa Shot’ or ‘Paps’ was shot dead by an off duty policeman at a party in the community early Sunday morning, June 12.
The cop reportedly turned himself in later that afternoon amid the clamour of residents that it was murder and an unnecessary death.
Reports are that Allison had been accused of hitting a woman with a bottle at the party. He was slapped in the face by a man and left the party to return with a machete. Allison reportedly delivered a chop to a vehicle in which he apparently thought his attacker was sitting.
It is then that it is reported a cop emerged and shot him dead.
