D’BAY MAKING EFFORT IN WEST ZONE
Ocho Rios High continued their winning ways in the DaCosta Cup Zone ‘K’ with a 4-0 whipping of Aabuthnott Gallimore on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Drax Hall.
This keeps Ocho Rios at the top of the Zone with nine points from their three matches played and won in the Zone with St Ann teams.

Ferncourt High are in second position with five points from their three matches in Zone ‘K’. They have won one and drawn two.
Meantime, Discovery Bay High, also in St Ann, are playing with teams from Trelawny and St James in Zone D. The team’s head coach is Alberto Singh, with assistant Delano Stephens and manager Kimone Francis.

Discovery Bay suffered their second defeat Wednesday, Sept 18, going down 1-0 to zone leaders William Knibb. The Falmouth School, Knibb are at nine points from their three successful outings, the same as Spot Valley High. Discovery Bay are in fourth in the Zone with three points, ahead of Muschett and Holland who are yet to record a point.
Singh told the North Coast Times that the team’s management consists of staff members and are dedicated to the improvement of the team. He said the management team members are realistic in its expectations and the team members are working hard and are regular with training, at the Noranda Sports ground Discovery Bay.
