They blanked high-riding Garvey Maceo two goals to nil (2-0) to ensure their place in the semi-finals.
The condition of the field was ugly but the teams took to Drax Hall well. Ocho Rios played a tactical game, willing the Garvey team to attack them, apparently to break down the Clarendon team. It paid off. Ricardo Morris stunned the Garvey team halfway into the first half, to end the first stanza 1-0. Then it was ‘him again’, Keanu Reid who has been scoring all season, belting in the second to seal victory for Ochi High.
As the North Coast Times has been reporting, the Ocho Rios High School team has been breaking records all along. All season
long they have lost only one match.

(Ochi Coach Veron Peterkin saying that’s one more)
Ochi topped Group B with five points earned from one win and two draws while Garvey Maceo placed second with four points.
Now Ocho are expected to face McGrath who placed second behind Glenmuir in Group A. Garvey will meet their Clarendon rivals Glenmuir in the other semi.
(Him again! Keanu Reid sealed the win in the second half)
The fans turned out for the match at Drax Hall Saturday under dreary conditions with light rain in many of the districts and communities from Alexandria to Discovery Bay from Moneague to Ocho Rios to watch their team go.
Garvey Maceo brought busloads of supporters too, from Clarendon and they massed in one side of the stands.
When the final whistle went some Ocho Rios High supporters fell down in joy and others just cheered the Ochi team
