SHAMOYA MAY BAILEY TAKES TITLE
A 24-year-old nurse is St. Mary Festival Queen 2024.

Shamoya May Bailey, a registered nurse at Annotto Bay Hospital, wearing the sash Miss Airy Hill was crowned Saturday night, June 22, 2024.
First runner-up is 18-year-old Oneika A. Coubrie, Miss Brainerd, a sixth-form student of St. Mary High School.
The second runner-up is 22-year-old Dahmoi A. Dozovado, records officer of the JCF Administration Office Port Maria, she wore the Sash Miss Bailey’s Vale.
On her way to taking the crown, Miss Bailey won the following sectional awards as well: Most Congenial, Most Popular on Social Media, and Most Active in the Community.

The first runner-up Ms Coubrie won the Most Poised and Best Performance sectional prizes. Second runner-up Miss Dozovado was adjudged Most Culturally Aware.
The Event was held at the St. Mary Anglican Church Hall, Port Maria, at 8.00 p.m. Entertainment was provided by Groove Band.
